How to get more value from any budget
The biggest waste in budget tailoring is adding too much. A simple suit in the right fabric will outlast and outperform a complicated suit in cheap cloth. Here is what actually matters:
- Choose navy, charcoal, or mid-grey. These are the most versatile colours and they photograph well. You can wear them to a business meeting and a wedding.
- Pick a tropical-weight fabric. Chiang Mai is hot. A heavy fabric that looked good in the shop will feel wrong after ten minutes outside. Ask Lucky which weight works for your trip and your home climate.

- Can they explain which fabrics work in Chiang Mai heat? A tailor who sells you a heavy British flannel for a tropical trip does not understand your actual situation.

How fast can you get an affordable suit?

A practical itinerary for a three-day trip: visit on arrival day or the morning of day two, choose fabric and get measured (about 30 minutes), return for a fitting on day three, collect the finished suit before you leave.
