THE KECK STANDARD

Across 170+ Google reviews and TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice recognition, the pattern reviewers describe consistently is a tailor who will not let a suit leave the shop until he is satisfied with it — including coming to a hotel for a final adjustment before a flight.

WHY KECK

Lucky measures you, fits you, and makes the call on when the suit is ready

Most Chiang Mai tailoring shops have a front counter and a back room. You deal with one person, and someone else makes the garment. Lucky handles both. He takes the measurements, oversees construction, runs the fittings, and decides when the fit is right.

That matters for a suit specifically. A bespoke suit is a structured garment where shoulder seam, chest, waist, trouser break, and sleeve pitch all depend on your individual body. Getting those details right requires the person taking your measurements to be the same person doing the fittings. Lucky is that person.

WHAT GOES INTO A KECK SUIT

Fabrics, construction, and what to expect from the process

Lucky works with Italian wool, English cloth, tropical-weight wool, linen, cotton, and Thai silk. He will tell you which fabric suits your climate, occasion, and timeline honestly — not toward the most expensive option. You can also bring your own fabric.

TIMELINE GUIDE

Working around your departure date

Travelers with a fixed flight need a clear answer on what is realistic, not vague reassurance. Send your dates and Lucky will give you one.

<3

3 days or fewer

A full suit is possible depending on complexity. If the window is genuinely too tight, Lucky will suggest whether a custom shirt or alteration gives a better result. A rushed suit that does not fit well is not useful.

4-5

4 to 5 days

This covers most rush suit orders comfortably. Measurement on day one, first fitting on day two or three, final fitting and collection before departure. Works when you can stay reachable.

6+

6 days or more

Best window for a full bespoke suit with clean adjustments and no schedule pressure. If you have this window, use it for the full job.

BOOKING RULE

Send your departure date first. That is the fastest way for Lucky to tell you what is achievable and how to start.

PRICING

Bespoke suit prices at Keck Custom Tailor

Prices are stated before any work begins. No tourist markup, no post-fitting surprises.

Why the suit range is wide: Fabric is the main variable. A linen or tropical-weight suit and a full Italian worsted suit are priced differently. Lucky will show you the fabric options and explain the cost difference before you decide.

REFERENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL TRAVELERS

6,500 THB is approximately USD 185, AUD 290, or GBP 145 at typical current rates. A comparable made-to-measure suit in most Western markets costs 3 to 8 times more.

SEPARATES AND ALTERATIONS
